The first of summer hosted walks for refugees and displaced people was held on July 26. Several people came together to walk to the labyrinth beside the Rivers Trail, Kamloops. As we walked the path of the labyrinth, we would stop, listen to an intercessory prayer, and continue our walk to the center of the labyrinth. Our return walk through the labyrinth carried our private prayers for refugees and displaced people, including those displaced by our recent wildfires. Jon Buckle brought his son and family from Switzerland and they shared their story of taking in refugees from Ukraine. Stay tuned for announcements of future hosted walks to raise awareness of the PWRDF Wild Ride campaign for refugees and displaced people.
