The retirement of the Rev Bruce Chalmers

Two worship services, one light lunch, a retirement party, and the delivery of a gift

On June 30, 2024, Bishop Clara Plamondon announced via a letter read to the two congregations of the North Thompson Ecumenical Shared Ministry that the Rev. Bruce Chalmers would be retiring as of September 30th.  His last Sunday leading worship would be September 1st with holidays taking up the remaining time.

A retirement party was hosted by the Church of St Paul on Wednesday, September 4^th, 2024 and was enjoyed by all.

The delivery of Trinity Shared Ministry’s Retirement gift occured on Monday, November 4th created by Joanne Wright from T-shirts donated by members of the congregation and community.

Our Parish was truly blessed with the ministry of the Rev. Bruce Chalmers with and among us.  May he and the Rev. Louise Peters be blessed in his retirement.
