St Peter's updates and events

Please take note of a change in service and of some up and coming events!!!

           Each 2nd Sunday of the month there will be a Book of Common Prayer service at 10:00 AM . Next service February 10th

          The next ACW meeting is Wed Feb 6 at 1:30pm in Mcleod Hall.  All are welcome to attend.  

          Messy Church starts Friday, February 8th at 5pm. Come celebrate the Holy Family.   Dinner is included, and activities (theatre, games, crafts and bible story telling) are for all ages. We will be wrapping gifts for the needy again this winter.  If you have any extra warm clothing( mitts, hats, scarves, gloves etc) please bring them to the church to be wrapped, gift tagged and placed on St. Peter’s fence on Carson Drive by the participants of  Messy Church.

           Interfaith Group Book club to study the Dalai Lama’s, Douglas Abrams’ and Bishop Desmond Tutu’s “The Book of Joy: Lasting Happiness in a Changing World.”.  The books will be provided by St. Peter’s Interfaith Grant from the Anglican Foundation.  The next meeting will be Thurs. March 7th, 6:30 PM at the Gendun Drubpa Buddhist Centre on 212-B South 3rd Ave. Tel: (778) 412 7780.  The meeting will last about 90 minutes and meets every two weeks.

               St. Peter’s Annual General Meeting is March 10th.  A potluck lunch will precede the meet
