HOLY BAPTISM in the Coldwater River

The Rev. Peter Van Der Leelie of St. Michael's Merrit wants to "take church outside" these days.

He recently posted these photos on his FB site but he thought others might like to see them, so here they are.

In the photo are Natasha Oates of Merritt and Peter in the Coldwater River recently.

The service was done beforehand, then the baptism in the river, followed by the holy oils and the presentation of light (candle) on the beach. 

And how cold was the water Peter?
