Prince George picnic fun!

Grace church, PG  held its annual picnic at Wilkins Park. We were happy to invite our St. Michael and all Angels friends to join us. About 30 people attended this fun event, including a 15 month old babe, a 80+ Grandma, and all ages in-between.  Rev. Westgate led a somewhat informal service of Holy Communion.

We enjoyed a lovely potluck lunch with a couple of BBQ’s going to cook our hot dogs and hamburgers. After lunch it was game time! We played pop the balloons, carry an egg, open a piece of gum while wearing mitts and the ever popular wrap a group in toilet paper.

The afternoon finale, as always was “which team can toss a water balloon the farthest without its breaking”. I’m not sure who won but I and many others were the recipient of many an errant (on purpose) toss.  All in all, it was a lovely time of faith, fun and fellowship.
