Prayer and Faith

St Alban’s is hosting a SSJD Quiet Day On 19 October at St Alban’s, Ashcroft, and we’d like to invite everyone to attend. It begins with registration at 9 AM and goes to 3 PM when we’ll be having the closing Eucharist.

The theme of the day is “Prayer and Faith” and the meditations are being facilitated by our Rev Canon Lois Petty—our 92 year-old Deacon. There will be lots of time for personal reflection, journaling and meditation for all in attendance.

All refreshments and lunch are being provided and a free will offering will be taken for SSJD’s ministry. 

It would be very helpful if people would let Martina Duncan know they’re coming by Wednesday, October 16th, so preparations will be complete for everyone.
