The Board of the Centre of Peace and Reconciliation, which has its home in St. Michael and All Angels church, is made up of an International group of individuals from different countries and faith traditions.
All of them however, believe fervently in the unifying message of peace and reconciliation, with God, with Mother Earth, with our neighbours, especially the most vulnerable of the world.
The horrendous war which has broken out in Israel and Palestine, and those ongoing in Ukraine and Syria, have left many people gutted with grief and not knowing what to do about it.
To this end, the Centre of Peace and Reconciliation in conjunction with St. Michael's, is holding a Peace Concert for All Nations on November 9th at 7:00 pm.
The themes we asked the choristers and soloists to focus on are, peace, hope, unity and love. Admission is by donation and it is a fund raiser for the International Red Cross.
There will be a gathering in the hall afterwards for refreshments and to give attendees the opportunity to meet, sisters and brothers from different countries and faith traditions, in a safe space filled with a spirit of peace and hope.
Respectively submitted.
