Ground Blessing Ceremony

Here are a few photographs from the ground Blessing ceremony on IR18 yesterday.

For some, it was the first time they had been back since the fire, and it was a day of great emotion and sadness, but it was also one of hope for the future. A fire was lit, prayers were said, and then we walked to each property, standing for a while while the families said their own prayers. Afterwards, we gathered at the Battlefield Community Hall and shared stories over lunch.
