FUNERAL SERVICE for Pastoral Elder Jim White announced

Dear Friends,
Tuesday evening, Aug 21, 2018 around 10.30 pm I received word that Jim White left on his journey from this life to the next. He died peacefully surrounded by members of his family at home where he wished to die.
His last days have been a struggle for him but at the end he was at peace surrounded by those he loved.
A funeral for our beloved Pastoral Elder and Priest will be held Saturday, Sept 1, 2018 at 11 a.m. at St. Paul's Cathedral in Kamloops for a celebration of his life and ministry. Please arrive early as we expect a large crowd.
Clergy who wish to robe and attend are asked to confirm this with Bishop Barbara as soon as possible. I hope as many people from our indigenous churches can attend as Jim was an inspiration and comofort to so many over the years.
We need to gather and give thanks to God for this dear friend and the profound ministry he had amongst us.
Please pray for Phyllis and the whole family, Betty his mother and sisters, and his many friends who are mourning his death.
May he rest in peace and rise in glory!
