Cross installation in Merritt

The Cross was installed at St. Michael and All Angels in Merritt on March 27, 2024. This cross had been repainted many times by Deacon Craig Farley and the bracket was designed by Al McKay-Smith.

The Cross was made by Gordon Cameron-Inglis, who was a carpenter at Highland Valley Mine. Robert Holmes gave the cross it’s first two coats of paint and put it up on the roof of the old church around 1984. The Rev Adrian Voysey was the Rector at that time.
