Bishop Jane Alexander receives a prestigious award

Asissting Bishop Jane Alexander was presented with the Queen Elizabeth Platinum Jubilee Medal for outstanding social work on poverty LGBTQ2S+ advocay and marriage truth and reconcilliation work over the weekend in her home province of Alberta. 

The Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee Medal will be awarded to selected Albertans throughout 2022 in recognition of significant contributions to the province.

Edmonton MLA Lori Sigurdson was on hand at the Cathedral in Edmonton to present this award.

We are so proud of and pleased for Jane and wish we could have been there to celebrate with her.
