Bishop Clara visits Ashcroft

Bishop Clara travelled to Ashcroft to join the parish of St. Alban’s for the March 3rd Sunday service.

The parish warmly welcomed Bishop Clara and they enjoyed a tasty lunch together after the service.

The bishop was given an opportunity to meet with Norman Retasket, well-known drum maker and Kamloops Residential School survivor, who presented Bishop Clara with one of his uniquely designed “215 drums”. The photo is of Bishop Clara, the Rev. Linda LaGroix (Rector) and the Rev. (Deacon) Lois Petty.
