A donation for the Kamloops Japanese Canadian Association

As hard as it was to walk with the people of St George's as they decided to close their doors and sell the church, it was lovely to be able to present some of the proceeds of that sale to the Kamloops Japanese Canadian Association.

This gift was made in recognition of the shared history between our two bodies - and for the many years of friendship and partnership between St George's and the KJCA.

When St. George's closed they wanted the proceeds of the sale to be seen not as an asset to be held but as a gift to be shared. Today we got to live that out.
