The New Primate of the Anglican Church of Canada, The Most Rev Linda Nicolls will be with us for the week-end on Nov 15 – 17. Archbishop Linda will arrive on Friday, Nov 15 and will join us for the Retirement Party.
An open invitation is extended to join Archbishop Linda on Saturday morning from 10:30 am to 12:30 am at St. Paul’s Cathedral, Kamloops. This is a time for us to gather with her and for us to tell her about life in the Territory. Some individuals have been asked to give a presentation but for the most part we will have an open conversation with the Archbishop to share from the mission and ministry of the Territory. Lunch will be provided.
Another open invitation is to a special event in the Bishop’s life and family. On Saturday afternoon at St Paul’s Cathedral - 1.30 pm, we will gather for the baptism of Leah Sarah Blakely, my beautiful granddaughter. Join us to welcome the newly baptized!
And another open invitation on Sunday morning at St Paul’s Cathedral, the Primate will present Melissa Green with the Anglican Award of Merit – the highest award the Anglican Church has, to honour the ministry of individuals across Canada. We are delighted that Melissa was nominated and selected to receive this prestigious award and hope many can gather with her that morning to celebrate this honour. All are welcome.
